Bold, warm pink — elegant, versatile and perfect for occasions.
This pink E14 cabochon cap and base set is the two-part plastic housing that forms each individual light point on a fairground display, light-up letter, illuminated sign, or amusement ride border. The pink domed cap clips over the assembled base and bulb, casting a soft, warm pink glow — a popular choice for wedding letter displays, hen party installations, birthday events and any occasion where a gentle, romantic colour tone is the goal.
Sold as one matched pair — one pink cap and one pink base — ready to combine with an E14 LED bulb for a light point.
These are the same components used in our own professional letter fleet, deployed at weddings, venue installations and corporate events across the UK — so we know exactly what they're capable of and how they hold up under repeated use.

Colour output: Through a warm white E14 LED bulb (2700K–3000K), the pink cap and base set produces a soft, warm rose-pink glow — gentle, romantic and elegant, one of the most popular colour choices for wedding and occasion event lighting. Through a cool white bulb (4000K–6500K), the output becomes a brighter, purer pink — more vivid and saturated. For maximum colour intensity, cool white is the better pairing. Cool white bulbs are available to order with approximately 2 weeks lead time — contact us before placing your order.
Pink pairs particularly well with clear caps for a soft pink-and-white alternating effect, or with neon pink sets for a gradient of pink tones across a letter or display.
What it's used for: Light-up letter and number builds for weddings, parties, corporate events, and venue installations; fairground-style marquee signage and illuminated shopfronts; amusement park rides and fairground attractions — including waltzers, carousels, ghost trains, dodgem arenas, big wheels, and ride canopy fascias; travelling fair equipment; film, TV and theatre set dressing; retail window displays and exhibition stands; hospitality venue feature lighting. If you see the classic domed fairground bulb anywhere — in a production, at a venue, on a ride — this cap and base set is the housing creating that effect.
No minimum order. Trade quantities available. Unlike some suppliers, we don't require a minimum order — buy exactly what you need. For larger trade orders of 50, 100 or 500+ units, contact us directly for a trade price. We supply event hire companies, sign makers, amusement park operators, ride maintenance engineers, prop makers and set designers across the UK.
Compatibility: E14 fitting only — not compatible with E10 (40mm) fittings. Requires a separately purchased E14 LED bulb to function. Compatible with 24V DC and 240V AC E14 bulbs. See our Full Light Set (cap + base + bulb) for the complete assembly in one product.
How can it be used? To create one completely working light point, you will need the following components working together:
- E14 Cabochon Base — the conic housing that sits in your letter panel or ride fascia
- E14 Cabochon Cap — the domed cover that clips over the base and bulb
- E14 LED Bulb — the light source that screws into the base via the Edison screw thread
- Nut and nut holder — used to secure the base firmly into your panel or fascia, ensuring the unit stays fixed in place during use, transport, and repeated setup
All four components are required for a fully functional, secure light point. The cap and base set covers the first two — see our E14 LED bulbs to add the light source, and ensure you have the correct nut and nut holder for your panel thickness before installing.
