Height is fixed by size, width varies by character. On a 4ft letter, width runs approximately 75–90cm depending on the character — a narrow letter like I sits at the lower end, a wide letter like M or W at the upper end. Every set is made to order, so there is no fixed price list. The factors below determine your quote.
- Size — the single biggest factor. A 6ft letter uses considerably more material, more bulbs and more labour than a 3ft letter.
- Quantity — the number of letters, and whether any characters repeat.
- Material — timber, aluminium and steel differ in cost and in manufacturing time.
- Finish — a standard gloss white costs less than a custom colour match to a brand reference.
- Lighting — warm white bulbs as standard, with coloured, mixed or RGB options priced differently.
- Complexity — a custom typeface or logo reproduction requires design work before production begins.
- Delivery — priced by distance and by the size of the consignment.
