We recommend booking as early as possible once your event date is confirmed. Peak periods — Saturday evenings from May to September, Christmas party season in November and December, and school prom season in June and July — can book up several months in advance. Yes — coloured bulb options are available across our full hire range. Warm white diamond LEDs are included as standard and suit most events, but if you need a specific colour to match your event theme, brand palette or venue styling, we offer red, orange, pink, purple, blue, green and yellow, as well as neon pink, neon orange and neon green. You can also mix colours across different letters within the same word or display. Specify your preferred colour when you enquire and we'll confirm availability and include it in your quote.

We work with you and your venue to arrange delivery, setup and collection at times that suit your event schedule. We contact you approximately one week before your event to confirm all logistics directly with you and your venue. In most cases we set up on the morning of the event and collect once the event has finished or on some occasions the following morning. Our team handles everything on the day so there is nothing for you to manage.

In the unlikely event that a bulb fails during your hire, our team will be within 30-45 minutes away to help. All letters go through a full electrical check before every delivery, and our PAT-tested setup is designed for reliability across long event hours. If an issue does occur, contact us directly and we'll advise immediately — in most cases a simple bulb replacement resolves the issue quickly. For larger events we can also arrange for a team member to remain on-site or on standby. Peace of mind is part of the service.

Yes. Ray of Light Letters holds full public liability insurance (£10 million) and every letter is individually PAT tested annually. Both the PAT certificate and proof of public liability insurance are available on request and supplied as standard to venues, corporate clients and educational institutions that require them for health and safety compliance.
